The Thursday Murder Club, based on Richard Osman's popular books, is set to hit Netflix and select cinemas soon, much to the delight of fans. nAlthough the film won't be available on Netflix until August 28, murder mystery enthusiasts have a plethora of other titles to enjoy in the meantime.
The Thursday Murder Club features Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Celia Imrie and Ben Kingsley as four amateur detectives trying to crack a murder case. They live at Cooper's Chase, a retirement community where life is usually quiet, until a suspicious death occurs nearby.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries

Murder in Provence
The ITV mystery drama series is based on the Verlacque and Bonnet detective novels by M. L. Longworth.
First aired in 2022, the series features Roger Allam in the role of Investigating Judge Antoine Verlacque.
Nancy Carroll also stars as Marine Bonnet, a criminal psychologist and Verlacque's love interest.
The series boasts a breathtaking backdrop, being set and filmed in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France.

The Perfect Couple
Airing on Netflix in 2024, it boasts a star-studded cast including Nicole Kidman, Eve Hewson and Dakota Fanning.
Hewson portrays Amelia Sacks, who is on the verge of marrying into one of Nantucket's wealthiest families - an island in Massachusetts.
However, a shocking death disrupts the wedding and turns everyone into a suspect.
The six-part series, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand, can be streamed on Netflix.
Murder Mystery
Murder Mystery is a film starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as a married couple who are caught up in a murder investigation on a billionaire's yacht.
While en route to Europe to celebrate their anniversary, the couple meet billionaire Charles Cavendish (Luke Evans), who invites them to join him on his family yacht for a party.
When a distinguished guest on the boat is found with a knife through his heart, they become suspects.
The film, which also has a sequel, can be streamed on Netflix.
The Thursday Murder Club will premiere in select cinemas on August 22. It will then be available on Netflix from August 28.
