In a recent exclusive interview, Shion Wakayama, who voices Momo, and Mayumi Tanaka, who brings Turbo Granny to life, shared their insights and experiences working on the show.

Wakayama expressed her feelings about the release of Season 2, noting that it felt like a long time since the end of Season 1. She mentioned that the three months following the broadcast might pass even faster. Tanaka, on the other hand, was eager to see how the story would unfold. Wakayama discussed how her approach to voicing Momo changed as her relationship with Okarun developed. She noted that when Momo is with others, her voice is lower and more direct, but when she's alone with Okarun, she adopts a higher pitch to reflect a more girlish tone. Tanaka shared her experience with Turbo Granny, explaining that during the initial recording, she was told to make sure her voice couldn't be recognized. However, it was obvious from the start that it was her. When Turbo Granny transforms into a maneki-neko, her voice became higher, making it easier to perform.
