A New Era of Marvel and Topps Collaboration
The world of Marvel is making a bold return in a fresh and exciting way as the studio joins forces with Topps, a renowned comic book publisher and trading card company. This partnership has spanned over five decades, beginning in the mid-1960s with collections centered around characters like Spider-Man. Over the years, their collaboration has evolved, leading to innovative projects such as the digital app Marvel Collect! by Topps and the Marvel Comics Chrome set, which featured 200 cards highlighting both fan-favorites and first-time appearances.
Despite Marvel Studios not being present at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, focusing instead on upcoming films and the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the Marvel Comics branch and Topps will be in full attendance. Fans can look forward to a range of panels and booths, including the Hero Creation showcase for Marvel Rivals on July 25, insights into the Ultimate Universe storyline on July 26, and a dedicated Marvel Collect! by Topps booth where attendees can meet the team behind the app, redeem code cards, and participate in exclusive giveaways.
